The Real Betis vs Alaves Spanish La Liga match was scheduled for a Saturday, 18 Jan 2025 kick-off at Benito Villamarín Stadium and the game was attended by 50,021 fans. Alaves jumped into an early lead and scored the game’s first goal in the 11th minute when E. García Martinez converted a penalty.
Real Betis came back and J. Rodriguez in the 28th minute, making the score 1-1. Betis found themselves in the second half after R. Perraud was given a red card in the 55th minute. Betis, playing with only 10 men, couldn’t contain Alaves.
García Martinez had an excellent game and had two more goals in the 80th and 84th minutes to achieve a hat-trick. Alaves ended up winning the game 3-1 but Betis were left on a low after throwing away the whistle in the second half.
