SRH vs RR Cricket Match Highlights
In a high-octane run-fest, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 44 runs in the second match of IPL 2025. Batting first, SRH posted a mammoth total of 286/6, the second-highest in IPL history, driven by a sensational maiden IPL century from Ishan Kishan (106* off 47 balls). He was brilliantly supported by Travis Head’s explosive 67 off 31. Rajasthan’s bowlers, including Jofra Archer who conceded 76 runs, struggled to contain the SRH onslaught.
In response, RR put up a valiant fight with half-centuries from Sanju Samson (66) and Dhruv Jurel (70), but early wickets and the sheer scale of the target proved too much. SRH bowlers, led by Harshal Patel and Simarjeet Singh with two wickets each, managed to restrict RR to 242/6, securing a dominant victory to start their campaign.
